Grey House and Gratefulness

I have my own "Grey House"!

 It is not as Grand Scale as the one pictured above but it is my humble abode.  A place that I call Home and a place where many Blessings have been granted to me and my Family.  I long to have a large Stone Grey House Mansion some day and I will...but for now, I am grateful for the Blessings that I have...
like the ivy that grows on and around my house.

 It has been said that Ivy provides Protection from negativity and disaster.  It is also is known for healing.  I am truly comforted that Ivy has chosen to share her existence on our Grey House!
Also I am in awe of the Roses that grow in my Summer Garden.

The Beautiful Bounty that they yield, which provides the foundation of all of my Organic Hand-Made Potpourri.

...and the accidental pumpkin patch that grew from seed.

The summer Garden Indeed!

It has been quite a Celebration of  of growth and change....we prepare now for the Holiday Season and the coming of the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2013.
My Grey House has provided so many Blessings of Earth and Spirit!  Some small and some Grand...but just the same, just enough for me♥

I hope that you have been finding the Blessings in your Life as no matter what your "Grey House" is....It is always Grand!

Sweet Summer

Today I was able to spend time with my Beautiful Little Grand Daughter...Her name is Summer.  Those of you that have been with me for a while already know that. Anyway, we spent some time out in the garden today and I was able to capture some photo's.

Summer is just the Sweetest to Photograph!!!

As you can see...my Garden is very overgrown but still produces the most perfect tomatoes.

Remember my post about the accidental Pumpkin Patch?  Tee Hee....we have a baby Pumpkin growing!

...and our house is beginning to be covered in Ivy!!! I do not know about you, but I love that!!! It reminds me of an old English House.  Some say it is not good for the brick or the outside walls of your house..hmmm, I like it anyway.

Rose Petals From The Summer Garden

Hello My Lovelies! In an earlier post, I shared photographs of the Beautiful Pink Roses in my front yard.  Not only are they lovely blooming and when in full bloom, but they are absolutely delightful when the delicate petals fall to the ground.  I actually look forward to the petals dropping so I can collect them to dry.  Looks like my Summer Garden is calling me to start creating Potpourri once again.

 Of course I will be creating "Rose" scented Potpourri and in addition, a special Blend of Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood Potpourri.  My Potpourri blends will be available for purchase...message me if you are interested and I can give you more details.
Also, the weather has been warm...Midi the Kitty has been loving her time outdoors.

 

 

She is so happy....looks like the Summer Garden is calling to her too♥
