Outfit Of The Evening..Loving The Color Purple

Well another week has come to a close. We have been really busy in the Miller Household. Work,Band,Family...keeps us as always, BUSY!!! I recorded and uploaded two videos this week. One of them was a Birthday Celebration for my two girls and the other, an OOTE. Today I wish to share my OOTE video. I am loving the color purple and wear it on my eyes and for my clothing choice. Getting ready for a band gig is always so much fun!!!! I get to style my outfits with lots of Glam, Bam and Shazam!!! Below is the video and a couple of pics from the night.

Pic #1 is us on stage and Pic #2 is with a our newest fan Gale...she caught one of the sticks that Jimi threw into the audience. We all signed it for her of course.

Later this week, I will share the Birthday Celebration. You can visit my YouTube Channel if you wish to view it before I post again.

Be back soon.

Much Love,

Welcome November

November has arrived!!!! Today I changed our mantel....

The glass vase holds a collection of corks that evokes memories of lovely pastimes and the abundance of a grateful heart. The feathers symbolize our gratitude for nature. The books symbolize our gratitude for the ability to learn and gain knowledge. The roses symbolize the beauty and fragility of life. The pine cone symbolizes our gratitude for trees and how they provide us clean air in which to breathe. The candles symbolize unity, light and spirituality. The potpourri and rocks symbolize the conservation of nature's beauty...and the pumpkin symbolizes the season and our gratitude to be able to grow things in our own little space we call call a garden.

November also welcomes planning and the creation of gifts for giving. I have been working hard on making lovely little things for friends and family. This is one of the gifts I am creating.

I am also creating new ornaments for our tree this year. I mentioned in one of my YouTube videos that we have a new kitty. She is so rambunctious so I need to have ornaments that will not be as breakable. I truly love this season!!!!
I would love to hear what you are grateful for or what you are creating for gifts this year.
Have a beautiful week!!!

Much Love,

Making Pies

Today I have been catching up on a few things around my house and doing some stuff for Our Band. One of the things that I have been working on in addition to the above is I have been making pies....miniature pies that is.

I love all things miniature. There is something so sweet about them. Also, I made myself a fabulous lunch. We were gifted the most Beautiful eggplant and a few other goodies.

No one else but me and my daughter's like eggplant so I made some for lunch. It is breaded and fried in olive oil to the greatest perfection then drizzled with a vidalia onion vinagarette. I had a little bit of chicken left over from the other night so I included that with my yummy eggplant.

Here is my recipe for Fried Eggplant:

Cut and slice eggplant to the desired liking. I like mine to be about 1/4 inch.
Dip into an egg mixture (1 egg and a bit of water or milk) I used water this time.
Next dip into breadcrumbs(I found Parmesan Breadcrumbs by Progresso...so good!)
Put olive oil in pan and be generous but not too much that the eggplant will be swimming in it.
Heat up the pan until oil is super hot.
Carefully place the eggplant pieces into the oil and cook until crispy on both sides.
Drizzle with vidalia Vinagarette and serve.

Let me know if you try this recipe or have one to share.

Much Love,
