Together...Through The Wood

Come my love. Let’s make a path through the wood. I’ll have a lantern to light the way. Together we will find our way through the dark, through the vastness of this big world. Together we can make all things possible. Together we will be free, free to be what it is that we are destined to be. Don’t be afraid as together we are protected. We are strong. We will find the destiny that calls to us. Shhh, can you hear it? A voice calls to us from the wood. Something about it seems so uncertain but whatever it is, it will be revealed. Time, my love, patience, hope and faith…we will make it through the wood.

~~Dena K. Miller

The above poem has a certain meaning to me as there are things on the horizon of my life that are uncertain. It is ok though, all will work out the way it is meant to be. Life always has its twists and turns, that is and always will be.

Now….Christmas!!!! Yay! I am so excited. We celebrated yesterday with my family at my Dad’s house. Every year, the Saturday before Christmas! It is a tradition that is long standing. The whole family is there with the kids. We exchange gifts, have a wonderful meal and celebrate bunches of holiday cheer. I did miss seeing my oldest Son. He moved to Iowa this past summer and was not able to make it in for our Celebration. He won’t be with us at Christmas either. I do miss him. He is well though and building a new life with his girlfriend. Ahh, yes, children do grow and need to expand their horizons.

So, here on the home front, still a lot to do in preparation for the Holiday. I have a few more projects to finish up specifically my grand baby’s blanket and Christmas stocking. I decided to make it from a bedspread I no longer use. It will be quilted and really sweet. Of course I have some more wrapping to do and that should be it. This year, I will be cooking Christmas dinner and looking forward to enjoying a very special Christmas Day with my family.

I hope to post a Wednesday Whimsy and then of course, I will definitely post next Sunday with Joyous Christmas happenings from the Miller home.

Blessings to all of you!

Much Love,

♥♥♥
