Magical Moments

Today was a Beautiful Day.   Jimi and I decided to stop at a favorite local food place and order to go.  We then drove down to the River Front Park in our Area to eat and enjoy Nature.  It was a day filled with Simple Abundance and Many Magical Moments.

Food and Friendship

Last week Jimi and I enjoyed a Double Date Night with our Friends Robin and Roger Seeber.  This is the second time that we have chosen to meet at the Spaghetti Warehouse for Food and Friendship!  The "Spag House" has a great menu http://www.meatballs.com/menu/submain.html

It is always such a lovely time at the "Spag House!!!"

Kitchen Spells~ Easter Pear Salad

Hello my Friends!  I created this amazing Kitchen Spell for our Easter Celebration.  It turned out so very lovely! It is super easy to put together so I wanted to share it with you.
Easter Pear Salad
A Kitchen Spell by Dena K. Miller

Ingredients:
Pears (fresh is best but can substitute with jar fruit) I used 3 jars of Pampa brand Pear Slices.
2 tbs of honey
1tbs of pear juice
pinch of sea salt
edible flowers
fresh mint leaves

How to:
Assemble the pear slices in a shallow dish
Next sprinkle with sea salt pear juice and drizzle with honey
Place the mint leaves onto pears (I used about 3 large leaves)
Arrange edible flowers around mint leaves
Chill until ready to serve.

This dish makes the perfect Springtime desert.  Give it a try, it is not only beautiful but healthy for you as well.

Easter 2014

This Easter was a Beautiful Day!!! The weather was fabulous here in Pittsburgh, Pa!  We celebrated Sunday at My Mom-in-Law's house.

It was a Bright Sun Shinning Day!!! Perfect, just Perfect!!!

Looking Closely

Did you ever see a sign in something that was least expected? I have an interesting little story to share!
My Friend Tina really enjoys my Beeswax Candles.  She purchases them all of the time to replenish her supply.  At my last Spring Trunk Show, she selected a couple of my Hand Dipped Tapers. That evening, she and her Husband had a Date Night at their home and Celebrated on their porch.

As the evening went on and the candles burned, an interesting and spiritual thing happened.

Look closely....do you see the sign? There in the wax is a cross that formed as the candle began to drip.
I find this so amazing!!! When Tina shared this photo with me, I felt such a magical feeling!!! When I create these candles, something very Spiritual comes over me. I infuse my intent of Love, Peace and Positive Energy into each and every candle so that the purchaser can take some of that Energy with them.  So when I saw the Cross in the burning candle, I felt that my intentions had transferred to Tina.  She in turn, saw this as a sign that what I have started and what I am creating is something that I should continue to do.
Funny and yet magical as we both saw this as a sign for the good of each other.  Friendship is truly a very magical thing!

The Secret Garden Collection

Hello my Friends,

On Saturday I did my Final Spring Trunk Show of the Season.  It went very well.  I will be sharing photo's soon for you to see my Table display. I wanted to share also that in addition to the Magical Moments Tea Lights, I had my newest creation to The Secret Garden Collection with me...
Pink Patchouli Rose and Fennel Soap.

and...Honey colored Patchouli Rose and Fennel Soap.

These blocks were cut into the sweetest little Guest Soaps and all of them sold!  It was so wonderful to see the great response to these soaps.  The soap also has oats for exfoliation within along with the healing properties of the Rose and Fennel.   The Patchouli within the soap is practical in not only smelling amazing but is also associated with love, wealth and sexuality.  Of course each is sprinkled with Faery Dust to look oh so pretty!!!!
These soaps can be found available for sale in my Etsy Shoppe.http://www.miladyleela.etsy.com  They can be sold as Blocks that you can cut to your liking or I can cut them for you and send as many guest soaps as you wish.

I think they are amazing and I know you would agree.  I am looking forward to creating more of these lovelies as they are truly special and very magical indeed♥
