A Day in the Life~Miladyleela

 What a day!!!! My Friend Kathy and I went Day Tripping to a quaint little spot to lunch and shop.

 The Carnegie Coffee Company offers so many yummy foods and beverages along with to go type of snacks.  Kathy and I both ordered the same item on their menu...Tuna Salad on an artisan bread, corn chicken chowder and a pickle.  I must admit that our lunch was so yummy!  In fact, it was by far, one of the most delicious soup and sandwich combos I have had in a long time from a restaurant!

We wrapped a portion of our sandwiches to go as there was so much food and took off for shopping!
The shops there in this town were so fun and unique.  Kathy purchased some jewelry from a small boutique and I made a connection with a store owner that may possibly want to purchase some of my artwork to sell in her store.

After a bit of browsing, we decided to sit in a quiet area tucked within a couple of buildings and enjoy the remainder of our lunch.

A fabulous time is what we had!!!!  I can very well speak for the both of us in saying, that we so look forward to going back to this adorable little town.  Sooner than Later, indeed!

What a Lovely Place!

 Great Food and Friendship.....at this adorable vintage like little diner!

The Menu Selection was awesome.....so many choices!!!  I always seem to stick to my favorite breakfast...scrambled eggs, crispy turkey bacon, home fries and toast.  Most times it is rye, but this day I opted for italian from one of the local bakeries.

Next up after our meal, we went to a fabulous little antique store.  I did have photo's of some of the store but must have mistakenly deleted them.  I do however have the video below so that you can see all of the lovely treasures I came home with.

It's the little things~

It's the little things that make me happy...and you?

I found an antique store the other day while enjoying food and friendship with a very special friend.
There were so many treasures to look at.  I did bring home some lovely things and will be sharing them in a video with you on my Youtube Channel.

Food and Friendship

So....one of our favorite Chinese Restaurants is The House of Lee...it is local to us.  Our Friends Robin and Roger join us there quite often.  They like it too, obviously.   I always order Tea when I go to a Chinese place.  It just seems so appropriate.  Anyway, Jackie is the server there and she always knows exactly what we all want to eat and drink.  She takes very good care of us.

Sometimes, Roger switches it up.  He enjoys trying new things.  I however, think he does it to confuse Jackie sometimes...Tea Hee!!!!  He has an awesome sense of humor!

Jackie always remembers the drinks and food we order.  She is truly a great server!!!

Our last Food and Friendship adventure with Robin and Roger at The House of Lee was not too long ago.
We hope to get back there soon.

Food and Friendship is such a fabulous combination!!!!

I adore having breakfast meetings with my friends.  We chat, dream and plan for all sorts of things that together we want to accomplish. 

A recent meeting with my friend Cheryl was so wonderful.  We caught up on all sorts of things and talked about future plans.  Cheryl gifted me a delightful collection of old cards to create with at our meeting.  It was such a pleasant surprise!!! I will be able to use the cards in so many projects.

 Cheryl ordered a fabulou full breakfast of which I usually order also.  This time, I decided to change it up and ordered...

my next favorite thing which is oatmeal with cinnamon.  A side of milk completes the yummy cereal.

Tablescaping~Creating Sacred Spaces for Food and Friendship~Sacred spaces of Home~Holiday 2017

Visiting with Family during Holiday 2017 was such a lovely experience. Creating this sacred space was the perfect prequel to a fabulous holiday meal with family and friends.

Another Fabulous Table Gathering on New Years' Day with Family and Friends became a great start to January.

A Birthday Celebration was also one of our Magical Memories during the Holiday Season.   tablescape was created to honor the occasion.

Such Sacred Magical Memories Jimi and I will hold forever dear to our hearts from Holiday 2017!

A Day In The Life~Finding Beauty in the Ordinary~Food and Friendship

The Month of May was filled with Many Many Blessings for me!
Such wonderful, positive energy and vibration was abundant in my world.
I thought I would share some other photos of one of the days Jimi and I joined our Friends Robin and Roger for Lunch in the Pittsburgh Pa Strip District area.

Foxburg and Faery's~Gathering Grace

 Last weekend, Jimi and I took a weekend trip to celebrate with Friends for one of his Band Mate's 60th Birthday.  We stayed in a Beautiful Log Cabin that was set back into the woods.  I'll bet Faeries live among the trees there.  Both nights of our weekend, we sat by the fire and shared fun, food, friendship and of course...music!

 

We spent a day in Foxburg Pa and took a these photo's.  It was such a beautiful time away.  We both really needed the getaway! 

Speaking of Faery's...My Planner Spread for the week called for me to enchant it with a Victorian faery.  I absolutely adore this idea and am surprised that I had not thought of it before.

The miniature wings are super fun to create and I just love how they look inside my lovely Planner.

 I have not yet decided upon a name fr her...my planner that is, but she so deserves one.  I will let you know when I think of one.  I am most certain that she will speak to me and name herself...wink, wink!

I think I will create soem of these wings and Victorian Fae as Planner clips and make them available for your consideration.

Changes are happening at the Tea Shoppe by the way and I will fill you in with more details as it happens.  I have been Gathering Grace and holding onto the idea of "Bloom where you are planted."
Working from home more will soon be in the plan....as said in the quote inside my Vision Board/Planner Spread this week, "Peace, that wad the other name for home."~Kathleen Norris.
Yes, indeed it is!
I look to this new adventure with Grace and know that the Universe is guiding my Path♥
