~Kitchen Spells~ Cinnamon Topped Butternut Squash

Hello Friends!!! It has been a while since I have posted a ~Kitchen Spell~.  I seem to get into the Spirit at this time of year.  So with that being said, I want to share one of my easiest recipe's that is an Autumn favorite!!!!  A few weeks ago, Jimi and I spent time on The Seeber Farm. 

Our Friends, Robin and Roger are always so gracious and send us home with the most wonderful goodies.

Notice the Butternut Squash?  I have a simple recipe that is so easy, I know you will want to make this all the time!!!

~Cinnamon Topped Butternut Squash~
A Kitchen Spell by Dena K. Miller

Ingredients as follows:
1 large butternut squash cut in half
Cinnamon
1 cup of water(approx)

How To:
Carefully cut the squash in half width wise.
Place both halves into a crockpot and turn on to the low setting
Pour water into the bottom of the crockpot filling to the middle of the squash halves.
Finally, sprinkle the tops of each squash with cinnamon and place lid onto crockpot.
Cook on low for about 4 to 5 hours or until squash is tender.
When done, remove from crockpot and place onto a cutting board or plate.
Scoop out the squash and plate...add butter or sour cream and enjoy!!

....and that is it!!! This is super easy and can be cooking while you are doing other things.  It is so yummy, I know you will agree!

Busy Time

 Also this weekend our Band performed in a Music Festival, it was a lot of fun and our performance went well...I hope to post a video soon.

Sacred Spaces of Home~Mabon Altar Thanksgiving and Harvest Blessings

 For the Wheel of the Year is turning.....

It is now time to reflect...to give thanks for all of the blessings that have been given unto you.  It is time to think about how things need to be balanced in order to bring about peace, joy and abundance into your life.  Set your dreams in motion!  Now is the time!  Celebrate all that has already manifested...know that you reap what you sow.
Believe that all things are possible!  You have the power to make changes in your life.  Start small and begin to make those changes.
Move forward with Love!  Love yourself first...for it is the "key in life."  I mention this in a song that I wrote.  Once you learn how to love yourself, everything will fall into place.  You will see. 
I have filmed to share with you my Mabon/Thanksgiving and Autumn Harvest Altar.  This space helps me to meditate on all of my blessings.

A Magical Life

 

I have been thinking about doing a "Magical Makeover" Video or Series on my YouTube Channel. I need to give it some more thought but was hoping to share ideas regarding self transformation that happens with the power of positive thought, respect and love of self.
I will probably add some Makeup tutorials too.

I think that this may be something of interest and helpful to some people.  Tell me what you think about this idea?
