I have been so busy as of late!  There is always so much to do but I really like that way anyway.  Even if there was nothing to do,I find myself keeping busy as I am one to never be bored.  I just finished this journal layout and am so happy with how it looks.  It reminds me of beautiful times with my Love!  He is such a blessing in my Life...every time I look at this layout, it makes me smile because, well...it just does.

Preparations~ Sacred Spaces Of Home

The Summer Solstice will be here on Sunday.  I am preparing our Altar with beautiful shells and a "Dog Days of Summer" Potpourri Blend.
I also am planning on filming my Summer Solstice Altar and will share it with you when it is complete.

Tea Time Happenings

Hello there Friends!
So we have just completed our second week since the opening of the Tea Shoppe.  It has been quite eventful I shall say.  On Thursday, we had the amazing opportunity to do a Radio Segment with our Friends from Star 100.7. It was so much fun!! What a Blast  we had that day!!!

Jimi and I wanted to gift our Friends Flick and Kelly with something special, for having us on their show.

I put together a lovely silver tray filled with all kinds of sweet treats from our Tea Shoppe.

In addition, we brewed some Peach Tea and presented it in our lovely Gypsy like bottles to go with their goodies.

We got a great response from them as they adored their gifts.
That was so nice to hear!!!

One of the things we will be doing at the Tea Shoppe, is offering a service to create Treat Trays and Bottled Herbal Teas for purchase. We are so excited about this!!!
Also, we have created a Tea Box Subscription Service.

How fun would it be to receive a Tea Box from us; The Teacup and Grounds, delivered to your door?

Our First Week at The Teacup and Grounds

We had our First Week at the Tea Shoppe and it was a great Success!
I posted this on Facebook...

"Here is to a Beautiful Week that was filled with Love, Positive Vibes and all Good Things! Jimi and I are so very thankful for all of you that have helped to make our very first week so successful! We can not express our gratitude enough to all that not only came out to The Teacup and Grounds Opening on 6/1, brought goodies and gifts, those of you that stopped in this week to purchase beverages, sweets and jewelry and also to those of you that have shown your support here on our Page by "liking", commenting and following us. It is so heartfelt and truly touches us deeply.

A Fabulous Day with Friends

Yesterday was my Friend Robin's Birthday!  The celebration included a gathering of food and friendship, first for lunch at one of Robin's Favorite Vegan Restaurants "Fortuitea" you can visit them here: https://www.facebook.com/fortuitea?fref=ts

What a lovely time we had there!! I enjoyed the sweet potato and blackbean burger that was out of this world!!!

 Jimi had the buffalo chickpea cashew mac and cheese

Roger, Robin's Hubby had the sweet potato hummus wrap

and the Birthday Girl had the millet meatloaf and gravy

Oh my!!! everything was so so yummy!!!
Of course I brought a little gift surprise for the Birthday Girl♥

..a handmade gift bag filled with a few treasures of vintage and whimsical sewing items along with a super cool topper for wine bottles.
Next, we went back to the Seeber farm where they reside...what a Magical Place their Farm is!  I have blogged about it before, btw.

We talked, laughed, drank soda and wine then decided on dinner at another one of Robin's Favorite Restaurants....

Blackberry Fruit Salad ~ A Kitchen Spell

This time of year especially, I am always wanting Fresh Fruits! Creating a Fruit Salad satisfies that craving while providing a healthy snack, meal or side dish.

Here is a quick recipe for Fruit Salad that I literally put together in a flash using things I had in my kitchen.

Blackberry Fruit Salad ~
A Kitchen Spell by Dena K.Miller

Ingredients:
1 cup of Blackberries
2 Delicious Apples cored and sliced
Fresh Peaches
Fresh Pears
 maraschino cherries
1/4 cup of fruit juice of your choice
*you can use a jar or can of fruit cocktail as a sub for the last four ingredients.
*Optional 1/4 tsp of cinnamon or ginger and Fresh Mint for garnish


How to:
Toss all ingredients together and place into a beautiful serving bowl.
Sprinkle with spice if desired and garnish with fresh mint.

For that magical touch...add your intention of Love and Blessings for those whom you are serving.
