I hope that all of you had a fantastic Christmas and Yuletide Celebration!  The New Year is now upon us...for those of you that will be going out to Celebrate, have a wonderful time and be safe!  If you plan on staying in, enjoy a quiet and cozy time!!!  I have a several wishes to share and they are for you to find Compassion and Peace, Health and of course Prosperity both physically and spiritually. Christmas At The Miller's 2013

Hello my Friends!  Well now, Christmas has come and gone.  It happens so quickly. Preparing for the Holiday for months then in a blink of the eye, it passes.  I hope that what ever Holiday you celebrated, it was a magical one this year.  Jimi and I came down with a flu like virus on Christmas Eve, so we spent our evening snuggling with our Kitty's.

On Christmas Day, we were still not feeling that well so we opted to stay home.  My Daughter Kelly was having Christmas Dinner this year at her house...we really felt bad not being with the family but we were just not up to leaving the house.  It was definitely a different Christmas for us.  Prior to Christmas, we did have a few friends over to celebrate the Season.  I instagramed this photo of myself after getting ready for our party.

It is such a passion for me to have Friends and Family over to Celebrate The Season!  My Friend Robin took these amazing Photo's from the Evening.

Of course even the Kitty's were apart of the Celebration...although Midi was in hiding.

Winter Solstice

It is official...Today is the First Day of Winter.  Let us welcome this tranquil time, a time of rest, a time of peace and a time of reflection.  May you find the quietness within your heart to bring change..like the seasons, for a beautiful future is yet to come♥

Lovely Handmade Gifts

Hello Friends,

I mentioned before that I was making Beauty Baskets for Christmas Gifts this year. To put into the baskets, I have created adorable little goats milk soaps with Vanilla, Oats and sandalwood.  I then then topped each with a tiny rose bud. I also created soaps with the same ingredients but instead of topping each with a rose bud, I sprinkled the tops with a beautiful mint green Faery Dust.  In addition, I concocted Sinusitis Bath Salts and placed some in delicate chiffon pouches. I mailed a tiny package to a friend of mine and she took this beautiful photo of the gifts she received.

 I also created amazingly colorful and scented Bath Salts that I placed in jars, added a lovely tag and attached a tiny bauble.  The scents of the jars I created were: Cinnamon/Clove, English Lavender, Mint, Lemon and Orange.  Below is a photo of a few of the jars I will be gifting.

Needless to say, creating these lovelies made my home smell AMAZING!!!! I really enjoy creating these types of gifts.

~Mysterious Origin~

We have finally finished the song that we have been working on in the Music Studio!  It was a project that is very near and dear to my heart.  The words for the lyrics came to me in a dream on night and I awoke to write them down.  After a long process of hard work, determination and Love....This is the finished project.  I have put together a preliminary video of it so that I can begin sharing it.

 My plan is to put together more of a story line video that relates to the lyrics.  That, however, will have to be a future project.  I am currently working on other tunes to be able to put together a Conceptual Album with the Title of it being  ~Mysterious Origin~.

Kitchen Spells ~ Sausage and Potato Skillet~

Hello Friends, it has been a while since I have shared a Kitchen Spells Post with you.  Today, I am going to share a recipe with you that my Hubby really enjoys! 

~Sausage and Potato Skillet~
A Kitchen Spell by Dena K, Miller

Ingredients:
Hot or sweet sausages  1 pkg.
I like to use both so I use 2 pkg and divide it.
Vegetables of your choice, I used onions and broccoli, 1/2 cup of each
(you can also use any left over vegetables that you have)
Potato's of your choice sliced, I chose red
1/2 cup of water
4 tbs of olive oil.
salt
pepper

How to:
Place olive oil into a skillet and heat on high.
Once oil is hot, begin cooking the onion
Next place broccoli into the pan and cook all until tender.
Layer potato slices in skillet, add 1/2 cup water, continue cooking until potato's are also tender.
Add sausage and cook well, until done.
Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
Allow all of the skillet ingredients to simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes on low.

Serve with a salad and your favorite beverage.

This is a super easy recipe that can be made quickly for a great meal.  Give it a try and if so, I hope you enjoy.
