Oh my goodness!!!! So many things have happened this week! To begin I was interviewed by a reporter from our Pittsburgh Area News Paper in regard to my YouTube Channel work.
The article can be found here: http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/business/news/shopping-hauls-a-bargain-video-genre-on-the-rise-650571/
Second...My lovely Artist Friend Robin and I had a business Meeting and Lunch to purchase and discuss plans for our future projects. The shopping was so much fun! We both purchased lots of supplies for our studios.
I came home with beautiful Chiffon Ribbon, Silk Butterfly's and Flowers. Robin's purchases were lovely ornaments to use in her doll making.
Have a look at her website here:http://www.outsidetheboxprimitives.com/
Our Lunch was at the Spaghetti Warehouse. We both enjoyed a yummy salad of mixed greens and grilled vegetables. I just love the cozy atmosphere there...
Robin had never been there before and is anxious to go back! We plan on meeting once a month...I am up for that!! We have an Art Event to plan and prepare for and as always, it is great to brain storm and be inspired by people you admire!
In addition, our friend Bob has joined the Band as our new Bass Player. His had his first Gig with us this week...he did great!!! He is such a good fit for our Band and we are so happy to have him with us!
Lastly and Sadly this week, My Husband and my son Justin were terminated from the Company they worked for. Jimi, had been there many, many years and was the Director of Marketing, Justin also worked in the Marketing Department as a member of Jimi's team. Unfortunately for them, the company restructured and their services were no longer needed. I do believe however, that when one door closes, another one opens! There must be better thing in the works..The universe is making a few changes I'd say.
Before I go, I want to also share a video with you that I just posted.... It is a sneak peek of more to come.
Hope you have a great week ahead!
Much Love,
♥♥♥

Announcing The Winner!!!
What A Crazy Week It Has Been
This week has been so crazy!!!!! I do not know where to start to share it with you. Well...I will just dive right in! Our Bass Player for our Band quit and we had a scheduled performance on Saturday as well as other scheduled upcoming gigs. Being in the music industry, we knew a few Bass players and asked for help to get us through, especially for this last Saturday. Our Friend Bob who just got married, last weekend said that he would help. Yay!! So we gave him a CD of our music and he came to practice on Wednesday....on Thursday, Bob had to be admitted into the hospital for chest pains and as it turned out needed to have three stents placed in his heart. With that being said, we knew he would not be able to do the Saturday gig....so Our friend Rick stepped in and offered help.
We scheduled a practice Friday and hoped that Rick could pick up our tunes. He was not comfortable only having the day before the performance to play Bass for us so we had to make another adjustment. We called the club owner and discussed the situation as we really did not want to cancel...she said it would be ok for us to come in and do an acoustic set. We felt a bit unsure about how it would sound with out Bass but agreed. In the meantime, our Sound Guy, has car issues and the gig was a bit out of his way to travel...oh and our previous Bass player also took most of the equipment that we would need for a PA System(it did belong to him) so we would have had to get what we needed from Bob and he was in the hospital! Whew!!! Are you feeling my anxiety yet?
So, Rick said that he could run sound instead of playing Bass...that relieved our sound guy Mario from having to come out and we played the gig. It turned out great after all for what we did although we knew it would be so much better with our Bass Player!!! The crowd was still loving our music and that is ALL that matters!!!
Also this week....my friend Donna came over..we went to Breakfast and then back to my house to create Wreaths. We filmed a video our tutorial of and I will share it soon. I posted previously a bit about this day.....and best of all, I received a email from a reporter from The Pittsburgh Post Gazette who was interested in interviewing me for all of my online involvements especially my YouTube Channel. I interview with her on Friday via phone and a photographer is coming to do a photo shoot on Tuesday! I am super excited that I am going to in the paper for my work!!
Lastly, I have been working on getting my house in order and was finally able to organize my closet. Below is the video showing how I have taken my tiny closet and made it functional..for me at least.
I have noticed that someone has disliked my video but did not leave a comment as to why. I really wish if someone is going to do that they would at least let you know why so that you could make it better or answer in some sort of way...I hope you like my video. If you do or do not, it is ok. Please do feel free to leave me comments on YouTube or here. I always welcome your feedback♥
Thanks for taking the time to read about my busy, crazy week...I do not think I have written so much on one post in quite a while.
Much Love,
♥♥♥

Friends,Food,Creativity and Closets
Today was a fabulous day!!!! My Friend Donna and I enjoyed a yummy breakfast at a local restaurant and then we came back to my house to create wreaths for gift giving.
We created the wreaths by using coffee filters and 1/2 inch pipe insulation. I am really happy with how mine came out. In the near future, I will be posting a video of our DIY Wreath Tutorial and Chit Chat. For now, I will share the above picture. The only thing left I have to do is attach a ribbon for hanging.
In addition, I began working on organizing my closet.
It is beginning to look really nice! Next, I plan on organizing my vanity and creating a better space for storing my make-up collection. I also plan on filming a video of my progress.
Stay tuned♥
Much Love,

It's Been A Very Busy Week..and Another Giveaway!
Hello Everybody, I hope you all had a lovely week,,,,My week was very busy!!! There have been some changes to my world lately...good changes I say but scary for me at the same time. A few weeks ago I made the decision to leave my full time Marketing job in the corporate world. With the love and support of my Hubby, decided to dive into my art and build my business! In addition, Jimi and I have had a small Marketing business of our own so I will also be able to put more time into it as well. Anyway, back to my art.... This past week has been my first week home, I have been trying to organize around me house as it has been a crazy mess since I had been working a 9 to 5. I am sure a lot of you know how that goes!
So as I get my house in order, I can really begin to carve out a work space that will be conducive for business and creativity. Currently, I do have a little studio but I have big plans to make it better. In addition, I have been speaking with several of my artist friends and have received such positive feedback and ideas for this journey I have chosen,,,,I am so excited about it I could burst!
So...You will be seeing more of me now....I will be sharing more videos and using my blog, twitter and Facebook to say hello to you with ideas, happenings and of course my art work. You will be seeing a lot of Whimsical Treasures like my Faery Wings especially.

A Very Special Day!!!
Yesterday was my Dad's 77th Birthday. The family got together to have lunch at one of my Dad's favorite restaurants for lunch. Below is a quick video of my OOTD for the gathering.
We all had such a lovely time at the luncheon and after, Jimi and I went to my Parents house for a cocktail. Once again, it was such a great time!! Jimi and I love spending time with my Parents...they are so inspiring to be around for so many reasons!!!!
Dad sent us home with a few treasures....several portraits in the most beautiful frames of me when I was a little girl, interesting books and the best treasure of all...an oil painting of my Aunt in her 20's as she dances with the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Oh my gosh!!!! I am so honored to have this oil painting. It is truly a vintage piece as it is over 60 years old!!!!
I am really looking forward to hanging it on my photo gallery wall..of which incidentally, you can see in the video.
Hope you are having a beautiful day and I will see you soon with a Tutorial for Tuesday!
