Updates and Summer Adventures

There have been so many happenings and adventures since my last post. I have been wanting to come back here sooner to share my story with you but time has just not allowed. I know you know what I am talking about.   We all have those moments where life gets so busy and it is hard to juggle it all.
Anyway life is good! I will be updating this beautiful space here for you more and more. A few things have changed already on the right hand sidebar and  if you are interested, I will be offering space for you to advertise your blog, biz or social network page on a monthly basis. The space available is upon approval and is limited to the size I have available at the time. Let me know if you want to chat more about it in the comments.

Soon, I will be posting the happenings of the many Summer Adventures that Jimi and I have been involved in .  In addition, I am on a new mission for 2018. I have started a hash tag to honor it as #savetheearthartfully
What this means for me is that I am working on using up all of the beautiful fabrics that I have been keeping for years and turning them into something lovely and very magical. All of my Love and Energy is in this work.
I bring it to you in the form of beautiful bohemian beads wrapped in wire to be used in so many ways....planner charms, book charms, book marks, window beads, handbag charms...etc.
Goodness these are so addicting and I am Addicted already!

Lemons

I Love Lemons!!! Not only do I think that they are lovely to look at, I love the juice and also it's fruit!!! The other day Jimi and I were shopping at Sams Club and they seem to always have the most amazing looking lemons.  We brought some home of course!

I have a recipe to share that is super easy..

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

 

All you need is a yellow or white box of cake mix, fresh lemons and poppy seeds.  Prepare the box cake mix as directed on the package, add one whole juiced lemon and about one tsp of poppy seeds. Mix well and pour into lined muffin pans. Bake as directed on the Cake mix box. Here is a little tip, you can add a bit of yellow food coloring to the batter while mixing for added color.  This recipe should yield 24 muffins.

The Reveal Show for my Spring Collection of Gypsy Jewelry

Hello my Lovelies!!!!!  Yesterday was the show I have been speaking about for the last several months!!! It was a Huge Success!!! I met so many wonderful people!!! Many of my Treasures sold and now will be a new treasure for someone else.  It truly makes my heart so happy to know that someone else will be loving my designs and will enjoy wearing them♥  Several of our friends (Jimi and Me) came out to support us too. We love you all so much!!!!  I filmed my Table Display at the show and will create a video soon to share with you all here as well as on YouTube....I do however, have photo's to share from our day now.

...and My Jimi who was such a great help...not only in his being there with me for the show, and all that goes along with it but for his support of me in general in all that I do!!! I am a lucky lady to have him in my life!!!

Our Kitty Committee

I have to say that our Fur Babies are simply the cutest Kitty's around!!!! Since we now have the newer furniture, they make themselves comfortable at any chance they get...which is really all the time!  Ahhh the life of a well loved and pampered Kitty.  I think if I were to ever come back in life as anything other than me, it would have to be a well loved pampered Kitty!  I know you know what I am talking about...Tee Hee!!!!

Mock Table Display

As planned, I have filmed a video to share with you what my table is going to look like at the show.  I have everything packed and ready.  Inventory list is done and a check list has been made so that I will not forget anything.  If you are from the surrounding Pittsburgh area, I would love for you to come to the show and say Hello!  There will be many tables there too for a fun filled day of shopping for some lovely Hand-Made Treasures.  Please do let me know you saw this video here or on YouTube, if you are able to make it.   I would greatly appreciate that!

Last Minute Show Preparations and Romantic Country Magazine

Hello there!!!!! I can not believe that the Spring Show where I will be revealing my newest Jewelry Designs is this Saturday March 23rd!!! I have been working so hard on getting everything ready and am now at the final stages....I will be creating a Mock Table display to see how I want everything arranged and then all I have to do is pack for the show!!! I am so excited to share all of my creations!!!! I plan to film a video of my Mock Table display in my studio...I would like to film while at the show too but I am not sure if I will be able to do so.  With that being said,  I can at least share the excitement with you all here in the event you are not local to come to the show.  Below is a my Logo Board that I created, not only to display my Brand but to use as a way to showcase a few pieces of my collection.

 I will have this Logo Board as a focal Point on the table and work my displays around it.  Look for a video soon to see how I set things up♥


On another note, my Romantic Country Summer 2013 Magazine edition came in the mail the other day!!! I absolutely adore this magazine!!!!

Every issue has such lovely pages that make my heart melt!!!! These are a few of my Favs in this issue.

Nesting

Hi there Everyone!!!! I am super happy at the moment about what has transpired over the last week.  We finally have a new couch and loveseat!!! Yay!  I have been wanting to get new furniture for such a long time and on Monday of last week, Thanks to our friends Denise and Marty, we have a new set(well not new but new to us...)  It was so funny how it all happened...I had asked Denise to look on Craig's List for me and  she found a set for herself instead.  Not a problem because we now have what used to be theirs and Jimi and I LOVE it!!!  It looks so good in our space!  The cats love it too...especially Mr. Jackson!

Yesterday, Denise and I went shopping for wall art and we both bought such cool stuff!!!!  Of course this was necessary since we both have to redecorate..haha! The best part is we did not spend that much money!!!  As soon as I get my livingroom together, I will take photo's to share.  I did already move the butterfly painting I created last year and put it over the large sofa...

It looks better there than it did over the TV.  Seems like with Spring around the corner, I am super inspired to clean, redecorate and spruce up my house!!!!  Oh and I should mention, that I am also working on redecorating our bathroom upstairs...it is eventually going to be a place where I can take a bath and get ready in a serene spa like environment.  Photos on that will also be shared..I promise!!!

Anyway, that is what has been happening in my world lately....what is happening in yours?

Fashion and Food

This week as do all the weeks, flew by!  I filmed a few Fashion Video's and shared a couple already with you here in an earlier post.  Check out this one below if you will...Jimi and I went out for a casual date and I wore this look.



I also wanted to share some yummy food I cooked up this week.

First up, Homemade Dumpling Soup.

...and I also made this yummy concoction of potatoes, veggies and sweet sausage.

Valentine's Day 2013

This year as in any other year, Valentine's Day is very special for us!! Jimi and I were married on Valentine's Day so of course it would be. 
Valentine's Day 2013 was shared at one of our favorite places...Cafe Notte!  It is a quaint and romantic restaurant with a flair for amazing style and grace!!!  As it turned out, our Band members also had reservations too so we all were able to chat and listen to the piano player that was there.  Jimi and I had the opportunity to meet the Piano player and he invited me to sing a couple of songs while he played.  That was really cool!!! Take a peek at this lovely place.

Both Jimi and I were very dressed up but I only got one photo of us after we came home.

 Jimi had already changed into his jeans and tee shirt....darn, wished I could have taken a photo of him before he changed!! He was wearing a black Pinstriped Suit with a red shirt and a Jerry Garcia red patterned tie.  Man o Man, he looked so Sharp!!! ....and I in my Red Dress.  I also wore at dinner, a black faux fur wrap that tied in a bow at the front with a black satin bow.  Jimi really liked the wrap, tee hee, I had it for quite a while and he just noticed it now.  Well, I really do not wear it that often anyway and thought that this was a good opportunity to do so.  I must also share that the Red Dress is the one I showed in my latest Thrift Shoppe Video!!!  I absolutely LOVE finding designer clothing on the cheap and rocking it like a million bucks!!! 
Cards and flowers were also a part of this Valentine's Day Celebration.

...and I did also receive a Pandora Inspired Valentine's Day Bracelet.  It is silver with pink Valentine hearts, lips and bling.  The lobster claw clasp is also just the cutest!!! It is a heart shaped lock.  Super cute I say!!!!

To finish this year's celebration....our Band played a Valentine's Day Dance at the Washington Moose Club this weekend. My Mom and Step-Dad came out and our friends Robin and Roger Seeber were there too.  Robin is the most amazing artist not only with her Doll Designs but with her Photography as well.  She took hundreds of photo's of the Band.  This is one that I said that I must have been thinking of Jimi.
