Tutorial Tuesday...Nail Tips Second in the Series
Hi Everybody, today is Tuesday and it is time for the second video in my Nail Tips Series. As you know, the Band played at the Hard Rock this past Saturday...I got to bed so late Sunday morning and slept until about 4pm. Needless to say, I had a lot of things to do around my house that I just was not able to do. So glad that I was able to post Sunday In Blog Land for you though. Unfortunately, I was not able to do a Mani Monday post.
So...with today's post, I will include the mani of the week as well as the video.
Have a beautiful week and I will be back soon!
Much Love,

Mani Monday And A New Video
Hello....today I bring you another Mani Monday. I had been sporting two looks this past week.
One is what I call Carnival Nails. This look reminds me of a carnival or circus tent. The two colors are "Royal Cloak" by Revlon from the Masquerade Collection and "Shock" by L. A. Colors Color Craze Collection.

I adore these two colors together, probably because I have a thing for the Circus and vintage like carnivals
The next look is much more elegant and is the color "Kim Pletely In Love" from Nicole by OPI . It is the perfect color for Spring and Summer!

I also have filmed a video to share showing this nail look and discussing a few new Lip Butter's I now have in my collection.
I hope you have a a beautiful week♥

Mani Monday ....Ombre Blue Sparkle Nails
Today is Mani Monday!!!!
The look I am wearing this week is what I call "Ombre Blue Sparkle Nails."
I have been wanting to wear this look for quite sometime but never got around to doing it until now. It takes a bit more time to create because the blue color is applied with a cosmetic sponge. This technique makes a mess on the skin around the nails so there is clean up involved, which is one reason why I have not worn this look before now. I would suggest scheduling extra time if you want to give this a try.
These are the products that I used in order to create the look.

You can use whatever colors you own and, it does not have to be Blue. I chose blue Blue because I wanted to wear that color this week on my nails. I think any color would be amazing though!
I have also created an update on my Nail Polish collection...you can watch it here:
I hope you have a beautiful and colorful week!

Mani Monday
Good Day to Everyone!!!! It is Monday which means it is time for another Nail Post. Last week I was wearing this look on my nails.

A very simple but elegant look...and of course as usual, the accent nail was created by using a fine silver and iridescent glitter polish.

White is always a nice look for any season. Spring and Summer especially but it has been a statement in Autumn too. Pretty much, if it is something that you love, show it, wear it and enjoy it♥
I will be back soon with a Tutorial Tuesday...tomorrow.

Mani Monday...Nails Of The Week
Hi Everybody! How was your Easter? Mine was so lovely!!!! We spent the day with family and enjoyed a very nice dinner with Jimi's Mom and Brother..then off to my Dad's to visit for a while. It was truly a nice day. Earlier, I had delivered a basket to my oldest daughter and my grand baby...they were invited to an Easter egg hunt so I had to make my delivery early. I mentioned to Summer that the Easter Bunny dropped her basket off at "Grammy's" which is why I had to bring it over. She did not care..she just wanted the bubbles that were in her basket, which by the way were in a carrot shaped container..so cute!Today is Monday and I have decided that I am going to be posting Mani Mondays when I do a Monday posts from now on. Here I will share my Nails of the week and the products used to achieve the look. If you have any questions about colors or products, please comment and I will answer.
I do hope you enjoy this new idea for Monday posts.Below is the look for my Nails of the week.

First OOTD Video and Belly Dancing
Over the weekend, as usual we had a Band Gig. I decided to make a quick video showing the outfit that I chose to wear for the performance. It was fun to make and I am thinking that I should do more of these....time will tell. Anyway, below is the video.
Also, I am wearing pink nails this week. I love the color, it is like a bubble gum pink...so pretty!!!! I have not worn this color since the Summertime but was really wanting to wear it again, so I am.
No glitter, can you believe that?
Just wanted to also mention that I has not posted a Sunday in Blog Land because my Uncle by marriage, passed away this past weekend and we had to leave shortly after our gig to get to the viewing and funeral. It was a very emotionally and physically draining weekend, but we got through it.
One last thing I want to mention is that I have joined a Middle Eastern Dance Class....belly dancing to be a bit more clear. Love it!!!!! I will be busy with this for the next six weeks. What a workout!!!! It is a very intense class....for those of you that have taken belly dancing, you know what I mean. You must be able to concentrate in making your body move in such a way that is not as easy as it looks. Below is a video that shows how incredible this form of dance is.
Have a beautiful week and I will be back soon.

Tutorial Tuesday..It's Valentine's Day♥
Hello on this years Valentine's Day!!! So excited as today is my Wedding Anniversary to the most amazing Man!!!! We will be celebrating this evening by having dinner at a very romantic place. I am so looking forward to it! I hope your Valentine's Day will be just as lovely. If you were thinking about doing a super easy and fun look on your nails, I have created a video for you and will explain in further detail below.
Enjoy your day and have fun. I would love your comments on how you celebrated your Valentine's Day or if you tried this tutorial how you liked it. You could also send me your pictures....that would also be great.
Valentine's Day Inspired Nails♥
Start with clean unpolished nails.
File nails to shape.
Gently push back cuticles by using a gentle cuticle remover
or lotion.
remove any traces of remover/lotion with a cotton ball that has nail polish remover on it.
For best adhesion, gently buff nails with a fine grit buffer or nail file.
Dust off nails again using the wet cotton ball.
Now apply the base coat.
Next apply one or two coats of Red Polish.
Then apply one coat of the fine glitter polish to all nails.
On the Ring finger, apply one coat of the chunky glitter polish.
Now apply nail gems to the ring finger using any sizes of your choice and any design of your choice. Pick up the gems with either a tweezers or an orange wood stick. If using the stick, it is easiest to dip the end in clear polish to be able to pick up the gems.
(I like to apply the gems when the nail is still tacky.)
Finish with top coat to seal your nails and the gems.
....and there you have it.

Well, I have to start getting ready for my day. Have a Sweet Day!
Much Love,
♥♥♥

Tutorial Tuesday and A New Nail Look of the Day

Hello there! Today is Tuesday and I have a tutorial to share with you. I have not really given this project a name but the finished product is a frame like creation that you can either hang or place on a picture easel.
Lets Begin!
Materials needed:
Clean Jar lid
Photocopied picture
Glue Stick
All Purpose Glue
Glitter
Paint Brush or paint sponge
Hot glue sticks
Hot Glue gun
Small ribbon roses
Faux pearls
Diamond Glaze

Using the jar lid as a template, cut your picture to fit the inside part of the lid.
glue picture in place using the glue stick and press to secure.
Next apply a thin coat of Diamond glaze with a small paint brush or paint sponge(this product
will make your picture appear as it has a glass finish.)
Apply several thin coats one at a time of the Diamond Glaze. Let dry between each coat. Determine how shiny you want the picture to look and continue to apply the Diamond Glaze until the look you want is achieved.

Next, apply a thin coat of all purpose glue to the back of the lid and sprinkle glitter to cover. Let dry.
Now apply the small ribbon roses and faux pearls using the hot glue gun to the outer rim of the jar lid.
Complete by hot gluing a cord to the back of lid or simply place in a picture easel for display.

....and there you have it!
Also a new nail look of the day using Petites Nail Polish color "Baby Blue" and a glitter polish by L.A. Colors "Starlight" on the ring finger.

Give them a try.....I would love to see your finished projects and Nails of the Day.
Have a beautiful week!
Much Love,

Oh Christmas Tree and A Simple Nail Tutorial
I was able to get a few more pictures of our tree this year when the lighting was right in my house. I sometimes have that issue, the lighting is not always at its best in the room or rooms where I wish to shoot a video or take pictures. Anyway, I lucked out and the time was right, so I can share these pictures with you. I think our tree looks so beautiful this year. I really enjoyed making our new Hand-Made ornaments. If you have watched my first Thrift Shoppe Video on Youtube, you will know what inspired our tree this year. If you have not, visit my Channel and look for "My Thrift Shoppe Finds".

I also wanted to include a simple nail tutorial that is great for the holiday season. It is not the traditional red or candy cane or even the Christmas nails in design but a simple clean look that will get you through wrapping presents, opening cards and gifts without chipping or looking worn. I call it, "Rose Pink nails with a hint of glitter".
First make sure nails are clear of any traces of polish.
Next use the Rose Pink and apply two coats of an even application.
Now apply two thin coats of glitter to the tips of nails only.
Let dry for about a minute and finish with a clear top coat.
This simple yet pretty look will get you through the holiday season looking great.
I used:
* Rose Pink by LA colors(it is part of the L.A. Colors Rose Pink French manicure kit)
*Sassy Sparkle by LA colors
*Poshe' Top Coat
**The Rose Pink is so sheer that it is almost clear, it provides just a hint of natural pink color.
Have a Merry Christmas and I will be back soon with highlights from "Christmas at the Millers"

The Coffee Bar and A Nail Polish Collection
I have a couple of things that I want to share with you today....first is what I call my Coffee Bar. Yes I LOVE Coffee!!!! I really drink too much of it so I have finally broken down and mix the regular with decaf. If I can find it all ready mixed, I will buy that because it saves me time....I have been consumed lately with trying to find ways to save time. So with that...I have what I call a "Coffee Bar" in my kitchen.
It is a cake plate that I keep all my coffee spices and things for tea on. The spice containers are actually salt and pepper shakers that I have filled and created a handmade label to identify the contents. The spices I keep on the bar are as follows:
Pumpkin Pie Spice, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cinnamon Sticks and Ginger. Tucked in the back is my honey bear and a gifted tea cup that holds a honey dripper and a lovely sugar spoon from my Mother - In- Law. I also keep a few special and tiny handmade pottery pieces that hold spoons and tea bags.
Do you have a place to keep such items? It is super easy to put together and does help to save time as everything you need is so handy.
Next I have completed another video that I have been promising. This is of my Nail Polish Collection and a sneek peek of some of my jewelry and makeup collection.
I hope you like it.
Have a beautiful week.
Much Love,
Milady Leela
