My Two Hands and Voice~Led By Spirit

Today is going to be a very busy day consisting of Art and Music.

I am working on a bringing to you Cinnamon/Clove Valentine Heart Ornaments. These are super lovely! Not only do they smell so good, they are embellished with Hand~Dyed Venetian Style Lace, Vintage Buttons and one other finishing touch that makes my heart go...swoon(hopefully yours too♥)

Stay tuned for more on these ornaments.

Also, I am feeling...."Painted Postcards" as I type this to you.

 

 

~Here is a bit about how I create.....I am truly led by Spirit and so what happens to be created is a gift that comes from Spirit! of course there may be times that I do have a plan in action but it never fails me that "Spirit" Leads me!

Interesting to think that I was just having a similar conversation with my Dad over Holiday of which he said that his work schedule was always lead by Spirit.

Daddy....I am your daughter, wink, wink!

Anyway.....I still have yet to finish the Valentine Heart Banners of which shall be ready soon♥

Valentine's Day ~ Anniversary Celebration

Jimi and I celebrated our 8th Year Wedding Anniversary February 14, 2015! Yes, we were married on the most Romantic Day of the Year♥

As always, the day was amazing!!! It snowed and was very cold...which made this day even better to be snowed in, shall I say.  This was the second year that we decided to stay at home and enjoy a home cooked meal.  Jimi made us grilled scallops as an appetizer and a salad while I prepared a roasted rosemary herbed chicken with baked yellow potatoes. 
I made a Red Velvet Cake for dessert which is a tradition of ours, as it was our Wedding Cake choice.

 My cake turned out great!!! It was perfectly moist and oh so yummy!! Jimi loved it!  That made me very happy of course!

A Very Special and Romantic Valentine's Day 2014

Hello My Lovely Friends!  I hope you all had a Fabulous Valentine's Day!!!!! As Promised, I wanted to share a bit of mine.  Jimi and I decided a while ago that we would spend this Valentine's Day/Anniversary at home.  I began planning a few weeks ago how I would create the evening for us.  I decided on a menu of Roasted Cornish hens, Red Smashed Potato's and Sweet White Corn.  For desert, an assorted Chocolate Tray and of course White Wine and Champagne.  I created a very special loose Love Incense Blend and prepared the Candles for our Evening with Blessings for our Love! In addition, The Snow White and Her Prince Box I recently thrifted, was also a part of our Celebration....together we said a blessing over the box with our intentions of continued love and respect for one another. I have to say that it was truly the Best Valentine's Day, besides our Wedding!

My Wow Wow Wedding

Hello my friends I had mentioned about my Friend Justina's Wow Wow Wedding Project that she asked me to participate in. Today is the day that I will share My Wow Wow Wedding with you.  I have created a video of Photographic Memories from My wedding.  I hope you enjoy it!!! As you know Jimi and I were married on Valentine's Day!  It was the most Magical time in my Life and each year we celebrate our Anniversary, our Love becomes even stronger as the Magic continues!!! Valentine's Day 2013

This year as in any other year, Valentine's Day is very special for us!! Jimi and I were married on Valentine's Day so of course it would be. 
Valentine's Day 2013 was shared at one of our favorite places...Cafe Notte!  It is a quaint and romantic restaurant with a flair for amazing style and grace!!!  As it turned out, our Band members also had reservations too so we all were able to chat and listen to the piano player that was there.  Jimi and I had the opportunity to meet the Piano player and he invited me to sing a couple of songs while he played.  That was really cool!!! Take a peek at this lovely place.

Both Jimi and I were very dressed up but I only got one photo of us after we came home.

 Jimi had already changed into his jeans and tee shirt....darn, wished I could have taken a photo of him before he changed!! He was wearing a black Pinstriped Suit with a red shirt and a Jerry Garcia red patterned tie.  Man o Man, he looked so Sharp!!! ....and I in my Red Dress.  I also wore at dinner, a black faux fur wrap that tied in a bow at the front with a black satin bow.  Jimi really liked the wrap, tee hee, I had it for quite a while and he just noticed it now.  Well, I really do not wear it that often anyway and thought that this was a good opportunity to do so.  I must also share that the Red Dress is the one I showed in my latest Thrift Shoppe Video!!!  I absolutely LOVE finding designer clothing on the cheap and rocking it like a million bucks!!! 
Cards and flowers were also a part of this Valentine's Day Celebration.

...and I did also receive a Pandora Inspired Valentine's Day Bracelet.  It is silver with pink Valentine hearts, lips and bling.  The lobster claw clasp is also just the cutest!!! It is a heart shaped lock.  Super cute I say!!!!

To finish this year's celebration....our Band played a Valentine's Day Dance at the Washington Moose Club this weekend. My Mom and Step-Dad came out and our friends Robin and Roger Seeber were there too.  Robin is the most amazing artist not only with her Doll Designs but with her Photography as well.  She took hundreds of photo's of the Band.  This is one that I said that I must have been thinking of Jimi.

The Color Red Equals Love

I Have been wanting to share this picture with you. It was taken on Valentine's Day at the Restaurant Jimi and I celebrated Our Wedding Anniversary. We actually had our Wedding Reception at this Restaurant so it definitely holds lovely memories for us. We were so surprised to be led to the exact place where we sat on our Wedding Day that night.


It was truly an magical evening! I chose to wear the Red Lipstick that I shared in the video below.

Tutorial Tuesday..It's Valentine's Day♥

Hello on this years Valentine's Day!!! So excited as today is my Wedding Anniversary to the most amazing Man!!!! We will be celebrating this evening by having dinner at a very romantic place. I am so looking forward to it! I hope your Valentine's Day will be just as lovely. If you were thinking about doing a super easy and fun look on your nails, I have created a video for you and will explain in further detail below.



Enjoy your day and have fun. I would love your comments on how you celebrated your Valentine's Day or if you tried this tutorial how you liked it. You could also send me your pictures....that would also be great.
Valentine's Day Inspired Nails♥
Start with clean unpolished nails.
File nails to shape.
Gently push back cuticles by using a gentle cuticle remover
or lotion.
remove any traces of remover/lotion with a cotton ball that has nail polish remover on it.
For best adhesion, gently buff nails with a fine grit buffer or nail file.
Dust off nails again using the wet cotton ball.
Now apply the base coat.
Next apply one or two coats of Red Polish.
Then apply one coat of the fine glitter polish to all nails.
On the Ring finger, apply one coat of the chunky glitter polish.
Now apply nail gems to the ring finger using any sizes of your choice and any design of your choice. Pick up the gems with either a tweezers or an orange wood stick. If using the stick, it is easiest to dip the end in clear polish to be able to pick up the gems.
(I like to apply the gems when the nail is still tacky.)
Finish with top coat to seal your nails and the gems.
....and there you have it.
