Real Life

 

Hello, my Beautiful Souls,

It has been a while since I have posted here. So many things have changed in my life, our world and so has the weather.  We are now into the autumn season of 2020.  Where has the time gone?

Jimi and I are ina transitional period in our lives as we are the caretakers for his 93-year-old mom. My MiL as I call her.  She asked us to stay with her back in April so we are doing that but go back and forth to our home.  Back and forth we go from the cottage to the castle and to the castle to the cottage.  Last year it was to the cottage from the castle maybe once during the week and every Sunday for our Sunday supper Club as we call it.  

Anyway, we have a cozy little bedroom here at the cottage so our overnights are comfortable and we can get the sleep we need to do what we do.

Oh yes, and then there is the Pandemic so we are trying to stay safe while continuing to work and take care of ourselves and mom.

In addition, Jimi and I became grandparents again to a lovely little girl named Ava Rose.  She has blessed our family as of August 2020.  Our youngest daughter Nikki is her mommy.

Our oldest daughter has been struggling with addiction which has been very difficult for her and for us as a family.

Our boys are doing relatively well in spite of life's' ups and downs.

Both of our vehicles have been needing some work which is tough to manage when our work as musicians this year has been halted due to covid.

All in all, we are staying afloat and keeping our heads above water.

going with the ebb and flow of life, 

Still guided by the inspiration of the moon cycles and living life beautifully

reminding myself that there is always calm after the storm.
