Tutorial Tuesday....Relationship Nurturing.

Today is Tutorial Tuesday!!!! This week I will share my thoughts about relationships.  My husband and I both believe that it is very important to stay connected by scheduling time for each other.  Creating ways to continue to build our friendship and our marriage(Our Relationship).  What we do is plan dates whether they be just to go out for dinner, to a movie, an overnight, vacation.or even just a night in.  These special moments are times we look forward to.  Sometimes our dates are spontaneous and sometimes not...but either way, it is our way to nurture our relationship.   We have so much fun together on our dates...and over the years, we have created so many special memories.  Below is a video of a recent night out...I/we hope you enjoy watching it.

I encourage you to make a date with your special someone.  The time together is very nurturing and is really a great way to stay connected with each other.

Have fun and enjoy each others company.

I'll be back soon.

Much Love,
♥♥♥

P.S. I named my video "Love Is A Gamble" because when one falls in love, it is a gamble as to what your love will become and grow in to.  Remember, it is really up to the both of you in how you choose to love.  Be good to each other..Respect each other and most of all, Love each other.

Mani Monday

Good Day to Everyone!!!!  It is Monday which means it is time for another Nail Post.  Last week I was wearing this look on my nails.

A very simple but elegant look...and of course as usual, the accent nail was created by using a fine silver and iridescent glitter polish.

White is always a nice look for any season.  Spring and Summer especially but it has been a statement in  Autumn too.  Pretty much, if it is something that you love, show it, wear it and enjoy it♥

I will be back soon with a Tutorial Tuesday...tomorrow.

Much Love,
♥♥♥

Mani Monday...Nails I Am Loving

This is a Nail look that I have recently worn and have enjoyed. Red is always such a classic color and can dress up your nails as well as your lips.

Speaking of lips, I am on the hunt for Revlon's "Really Red" which is a matte color. My local CVS did not have it so next stop is Rite Aid. I am thinking of creating a lipstick collection video soon and would love to add this one to my collection to share with you.
Anyway, back to the nails, I have reviewed the glitter polishes with you in a video and you can check it out here....it is about 13 mins in.

In the video, I mention that you might not be able to wear this glitter polish alone, but I have decided to try it...
I am wearing it alone and I think it looks good. It is a fun and festive look for any occasion.

Much Love,

Experiment with the glitter polishes you have and have fun!

Doll House Dreams

I have been thinking about creating a doll house lately. A few Christmas' past, Jimi bought me perfume from Victoria's Secret and it came presented in this lovely box.

I knew right then that I would use it for a doll house! Recently, I bought a couple of things from the craft store to use for the doll house. I am envisioning a Victorian Gypsy look. At the moment, I do not know if my house will have levels...however, more than likely it will. There are two sides when the box is opened, so I may create two floors on each side.

I am also thinking about furnishings and such. There will definitely be a dressing room and a sitting room. Lighting is going to be a challenge, although I think it would add so much if I can figure something out. I will keep you posted on the progress of the house. I can not promise when, but will share as I go.

If you have created a doll hose of your own, please leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you.

I will be be back soon with a Tutorial on Tuesday.

Much Love,

What a Great Day!

What a great day it was yesterday!!!! Jimi, Stefan and I were asked to be Judges for the Pittsburgh Pa X-Factor Auditions.
To be asked to be a Judge is truly such an honor! There was amazing talent but only 3 winners were selected to go to the next level. The winners selected are now guaranteed to have another audition in front of the X-Factor producers at the Rhode Island Auditions. This City's auditions will be televised on Fox TV so be sure to watch. I am not sure when but the information will be announced on Fox. While we were there yesterday, we were invited to attend a Grand Opening of a new Pittsburgh Club later that evening, so the Three of us went and checked it out. we had fun. This pic is not at all clear because it was very dark inside the club. I still think the pic is neat though. Then after the Club, Jimi and I went to see a Band...Obviously our Band was off so we do try to make it out to see our friends Band's when we can. It was a very busy music filled day and we had a Blast!
Also wanted to mention that there have been some changes to our Band. We have a new guitar player now and will be moving on to amazing new things. Change can be a good thing. Please continue to watch for The Sidewinder Band.....you never know where we may be.

Much Love,
♥♥♥

P.S. Jimi and I also managed to squeeze in going to the Pittsburgh Symphony before meeting Stefan at the Club. The Symphony was incredible!!!!! I will say we had a very busy but amazing fun filled day of Music♥

Tutorial Tuesday and Some Pretty Hand Dyed Papers

Today is Tutorial Tuesday and so... I have a video to share and a DIY on how to create pretty hand dyed papers. The video below is an easy tutorial on how to create an updo for styling your hair. I would like to mention how I really enjoy making videos for you all and sharing my knowledge and ideas. Please let me know what you think of them by leaving me your comments, that would make me smile!

I also wanted to share this easy DIY with you on how to create pretty hand dyed papers. Since Easter was just here, I colored eggs and had left over dye.

I thought it would be fun to create colorful papers by using the left over dye. It is important to use a thin paper for this to work well so I chose to use coffee filters.
I really like the way the paper picks up the dye and I also think that the circular shape makes for an interesting look. All you have to do is place the coffee filters into the cups filled with the left over dye. Let them soak for about a minute and then take them out of the dye. Now drain them on a paper towel.

After they have drained for a bit, hang them to air dry. I use clothes pins.

When dry, you have a lovely assortment of pretty hand dyed papers.
You can use these colorful papers to make flowers, write notes, wrap small gifts or anything else you can think of. Give it a try...let me know what you have decided to do with your pretty papers.

Much Love,

Mani Monday...Nails Of The Week

Hi Everybody! How was your Easter? Mine was so lovely!!!! We spent the day with family and enjoyed a very nice dinner with Jimi's Mom and Brother..then off to my Dad's to visit for a while. It was truly a nice day. Earlier, I had delivered a basket to my oldest daughter and my grand baby...they were invited to an Easter egg hunt so I had to make my delivery early. I mentioned to Summer that the Easter Bunny dropped her basket off at "Grammy's" which is why I had to bring it over. She did not care..she just wanted the bubbles that were in her basket, which by the way were in a carrot shaped container..so cute!
Today is Monday and I have decided that I am going to be posting Mani Mondays when I do a Monday posts from now on. Here I will share my Nails of the week and the products used to achieve the look. If you have any questions about colors or products, please comment and I will answer. I do hope you enjoy this new idea for Monday posts.
Below is the look for my Nails of the week.

Outfit Of The Evening..Loving The Color Purple

Well another week has come to a close. We have been really busy in the Miller Household. Work,Band,Family...keeps us as always, BUSY!!! I recorded and uploaded two videos this week. One of them was a Birthday Celebration for my two girls and the other, an OOTE. Today I wish to share my OOTE video. I am loving the color purple and wear it on my eyes and for my clothing choice. Getting ready for a band gig is always so much fun!!!! I get to style my outfits with lots of Glam, Bam and Shazam!!! Below is the video and a couple of pics from the night.

Pic #1 is us on stage and Pic #2 is with a our newest fan Gale...she caught one of the sticks that Jimi threw into the audience. We all signed it for her of course.
