Let's Play Ball

As usual, The Pittsburgh Marathon Committee hosted a Party for all of the Volunteers.  This year, it was a Picnic in Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Park and tickets to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play that night. 
I took some fantastic photograph of the evening.

Jimi and I had a great time!!!!  We are so happy that we are able to participate in Events that our City holds and the reward is so fantastic in so many more ways than one! Abundant Blessings I say!!!!

Busy Weekend!

This Past Weekend, our Band played for the Pittsburgh Pa. Children's Marathon on Saturday and for the Pittsburgh Marathon on Sunday. 
Saturday's event had 10,000 registered and 30, 000 registered on Sunday. 
My dear friend Robin, came out to take photo's of the Band on Saturday...she is such an Amazing Photographer!!!

What a Great Day!

What a great day it was yesterday!!!! Jimi, Stefan and I were asked to be Judges for the Pittsburgh Pa X-Factor Auditions.
To be asked to be a Judge is truly such an honor! There was amazing talent but only 3 winners were selected to go to the next level. The winners selected are now guaranteed to have another audition in front of the X-Factor producers at the Rhode Island Auditions. This City's auditions will be televised on Fox TV so be sure to watch. I am not sure when but the information will be announced on Fox. While we were there yesterday, we were invited to attend a Grand Opening of a new Pittsburgh Club later that evening, so the Three of us went and checked it out. we had fun. This pic is not at all clear because it was very dark inside the club. I still think the pic is neat though. Then after the Club, Jimi and I went to see a Band...Obviously our Band was off so we do try to make it out to see our friends Band's when we can. It was a very busy music filled day and we had a Blast!
Also wanted to mention that there have been some changes to our Band. We have a new guitar player now and will be moving on to amazing new things. Change can be a good thing. Please continue to watch for The Sidewinder Band.....you never know where we may be.

P.S. Jimi and I also managed to squeeze in going to the Pittsburgh Symphony before meeting Stefan at the Club. The Symphony was incredible!!!!! I will say we had a very busy but amazing fun filled day of Music♥

The Band and As Promised

A few weeks ago The Band volunteered to perform at the Pittsburgh Marathon. As a thank you from the Sponsors and The City Of Pittsburgh, all who participated as volunteers were invited to a Party and also given tickets to attend the Pittsburgh Pirates game that evening. I have been promising the pictures and finally have posted them for you to see.

A few members of the Band were not able to make it but of those of us that did...we had a fantastic time. We do have a beautiful City I must say!


On another note, I am still trying to learn all the new things on my laptop that have been installed. Everything has been updated, which is great but I have so much to learn and it is frustrating. It will get easier as I continue to learn by trial and error. Although I am so grateful that I have my laptop back...
