A Snippet of My Studio~Where Milady Leela Creates

I thought that I would share a snippet of my Studio Space with you...this space is one of My Magical Spaces of Home.  It is a Space where I Dream,Wish, Read,Write and Create.

 I love this cozy area..I have included a beautiful round table that my Dad had gifted to me. Under the glass is a wooden ships wheel and the base is an iron anchor.  It symbolizes both wanderlust and grounding of my soul to me at the same time.

 I love how the morning light sneaks into the window.

 Books and more books... see my Book of Shadows in the upper left hand corner?  I have been working in her more as of late.  I have made it a ritual to work in her at each full moon cycle and if Spirit calls before, I will do so also.

 Another view of my enchanted Bookcase...see the Tim Burton Inspired Pumpkin on the shelf? I made her at The Teacup and Grounds during one of our Pumpkin Painting Classes.

 Yet another Enchanted Bookcase and reading nook. Oh the books I have...so many to read but so little time.  Who else has that issue?

 My art table is where many of my projects begin.

But the Real MAGIC happens here!   On this desk...where each week Grace is Enchanted with Dreams and Goals to Manifest as well as the all of the Happenings in My Enchanting World.

Magical Spaces, Places and Stevie Nicks

 Haven at Home...This has been very important to me these past few weeks...I have been working on making some decisions for my business that have been very difficult and finding solitude at home has been key to quieting my mind.

 On going also with my Vision Boards...I am so loving this process and the group I started on Facebook is growing.  It touches my heart to see others using this method of creation to manifest their goals, dreams, wishes.

 This Lovely Candle is placed in my Kitchen.  I have a tabletop Altar and I love it so very much...it is a constant reminder that there is peace within these walls.
 I adore creating Prayer Candles. I created this candle to remind me to Live Life Beautifully by Showing Compassion, Peace and Love and Leading by Example.
These Prayer Candles can burn for seven days and can then continue to be used even after the wax has been burned.

Perfect Finds~New Treasures of Enchantment~Herbal Apothecary~Magical Spaces of Home

I was able to get to a Thrift Shoppe the other day that has an interesting mix of bits and bobs.  It is kind of like a warehouse of thrifty finds.  There is so much stuff to look at but they have found a way to keep it neat and organized into sections.  It is a cash only place, so if you do not have enough cash in your wallet, they provide an ATM. I stayed within my Budget...I had $10 to spend and that was all I was going to spend.  Yes, I was very well behaved.  this is what I purchased...



After coming home, I set up my lovely little cabinet, placing some of the herb jars that needed a home into it.

 

 

I love the way it looks!  Soon it will be filled up with all sorts of Herbal Goodness!  My kitchen is the perfect herbal apothecary for all of my crafting♥

Magical Spaces of Home ~ My Vanity Table

Hello again my Friends!  Well, last post I shared with you the treasures I found and brought home from Columbiana.  Today, I want to share with you how I have chosen to display some of those treasures.

Please take a peek of my Vanity table...notice the shell and the pink beads?

I love the way the beads rest so beautifully in the shell.  It is as if they were meant to compliment each other like that.

 

Since shooting these photographs, I have filled up the wooden valet that I thrifted a while ago with the cosmetic items that I use on a daily basis.

I love this idea as it provides an easy way for me to have all that I need right in front of me.

I thought that I would share another view of my Vanity Table.  On the left side is part of my Lipstick collection.  I keep mostly the ones that I use regularly out on display.

Also, I keep my long necklaces on a peg rack so I can see what I have...this makes it so much easier when selecting accessories to go with an outfit.

 

I'm sure that you noticed my Nail polish collection.  I love how they look on the vintage spice rack and shelf.  it is so much fun to display my things in a boutique like way.

Sacred Spaces of Home

The Wheel of the Year is turning into the Summer Solstice on Jun 21st. With that in mind, I have created a new Sacred Space....Our Mantle has been the best place for an Altar.  It is a constant reminder of all of the blessings I/we have in life.  Each Season brings forth such Beauty, I feel that that creating an Altar here is the perfect place to share that message.

I love this Shelf in My Kitchen!! It makes me happy to look at it all the time.  I especially enjoy looking at it while having my morning Coffee and in the evening during my Nightly Ritual of Herbal Tea Preparation and Sipping.
