Valentines~ Visions of Love and Sacred Spaces of Home

Hello Friends,
Yesterday was Valentine's Day.  Jimi and I celebrated at home.  We have been doing that for the past couple of years and found it to be so much better. It is much more relaxing and less stressful as valentine's Day is so commercialized now.  So with that being said, our time at home is so nice.  February 14, is also our Wedding Anniversary.  We celebrated 10 years together!!
I thought you might enjoy a few photo's representing our Enchanting Day at "Grey House"(for all of you Good Witch followers) or "House of Grey"(for all of you Game of Thrones followers) we follow both...tea hee!  So included here in this post is some of the Photo's from our Day.

Magical and Sacred Spaces of Home~ Making Changes~ Balance of Energy

Hello Friends,

Yesterday I attended an Art Show that I was asked to be in  with some of the Treasures I create.
I will be posting photo's soon. Anyway, after the show, Jimi and I came home and spent some time relaxing together. It has been a very long weekend for us and Yesterday was also very busy in preparing for this show.  It felt really good to just sit and unwind.
I recently I changed out the curtains that hang in our Living Room Windows to the cream colored lace in the photo.  For the most part, I change them out two times a year. I have a set that I use for Autumn and Winter, and a set for Spring and Summer.  I try to keep it simple that way.
I am really loving how the light is coming in through the window.  The Sun's Energy is filling our Sacred Space with such Beauty and Nurturing Love.  Truly Magical indeed. I am also looking forward to seeing the Moon light when it is in a position to shine through our windows.  I know it will also look Beautiful and her Energy just as Powerful♥

Meditative Intentions

Jimi and I were just recently gifted this Beautiful Photograph and I just had to share it with all of you.
My Friend who had gifted this to us told us that the photograph would speak to let us know where she wanted to be...and so she did!  She is exactly where she was always meant to be!

Cleansing of Energies~ Sacred Spaces

On a recent Thrift Shoppe  visit, I found the most amazing treasure from the Sea!!! I could not wait to take it home and prepare it for using in my Sacred Spaces.  In order to share how I did this, I filmed a video for you.

Sacred Spaces of Home~Mabon Altar Thanksgiving and Harvest Blessings

 For the Wheel of the Year is turning.....

It is now time to reflect...to give thanks for all of the blessings that have been given unto you.  It is time to think about how things need to be balanced in order to bring about peace, joy and abundance into your life.  Set your dreams in motion!  Now is the time!  Celebrate all that has already manifested...know that you reap what you sow.
Believe that all things are possible!  You have the power to make changes in your life.  Start small and begin to make those changes.
Move forward with Love!  Love yourself first...for it is the "key in life."  I mention this in a song that I wrote.  Once you learn how to love yourself, everything will fall into place.  You will see. 
I have filmed to share with you my Mabon/Thanksgiving and Autumn Harvest Altar.  This space helps me to meditate on all of my blessings.

Something very wonderful happened yesterday!!! I was humbled to place my hands upon this Sacred Space in my home, and give thanks for the blessing that was given to Jimi and Me.
I am reminded just how great and magical this World and our Universe is!!!

I have Created a new Altar.

I call this my Feminine Divine Energy Altar.

I represents the beauty of the the Feminine Spirit yet is balanced perfectly with Masculinity.

I love the way this has turned out so much.  Please feel free to watch the video I have created which will share more in detail about my idea and representation of this Sacred Space.

It Has Begun

 I am so excited for the the Summer Solstice..I am not really a fan of the Hot and Humid days we have here in Pennsylvania but I do love the Summer because it brings back memories to me. These memories are of the Beach with my Family and have been deeply rooted in my Spirit from the time I was a little girl. I can still remember family vacations with my Grand-Parents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins along the Atlantic City Shore.

 Pictured above,  is an old Photograph of my Grand-Mother and one of my Cousins from the late 60's or early 70's.
 Later, the vacations were taken in South Carolina, and always on the Beach. There is something about the Ocean that speaks to me and you already know that if you have been with me here for a while. In fact,   I do have a thing for Mermaids and you already know that too♥

I love setting up Sacred Spaces throughout my home to remind me of the things that are important to me. You may have read about my Altar that I set up on my Mantle in our Living Room, for this Solstice in a recent post.  I will link it here in case you have missed it.

The above Photograph is a space I have also chosen to keep the Ocean/Summer theme.  This space is in my up stairs Bath Room and although I plan to paint the walls, this Altar/Shrine will remain. I look forward to taking long Hot Baths for cleansing and meditative healing while being surrounded by the beauty that symbolizes so much to me.

Sacred Spaces of Home

The Wheel of the Year is turning into the Summer Solstice on Jun 21st. With that in mind, I have created a new Sacred Space....Our Mantle has been the best place for an Altar.  It is a constant reminder of all of the blessings I/we have in life.  Each Season brings forth such Beauty, I feel that that creating an Altar here is the perfect place to share that message.

Welcome Spring!

Hello my Friends,

I am so Happy that Spring is here!  Although, the weather has not yet warmed, the Spring Equinox has officially arrived!  That, we have no control over...year after year the seasons change.  So with that, so does my Sacred Space Living Room Mantle/Altar.  I have changed it out from a Valentines to Spring/Ostara Representation.  I love how it turned out and wanted to share it with you!

Symbolism

I recently posted this Photograph on my Instagram Page.

 

To the left sits a Blessings Candle of Quan Yin that I created, she is the  ~Buddhist Goddess of Compassion, Peace and Love.  To the right, sits a Beautiful Glass Jar of which I just found during a recent Thrift Shopping Adventure.

I filled the Jar with Crystal Balls and many Pearls after I returned home.

Both of these Lovelies sit upon my Sacred Space.  Quan Yin symbolizes how I live my Life and how I always want to treat others.  I light this candle as a constant reminder of  what Living Life means to me.  The Crystal Ball and Pearls Jar symbolizes the Beauty of what lies ahead in  the Future.

In other words, when you look into the future, there are many Pearls along the way....you just need to first Believe that they are there and then you will find them.
