Wake Up and Smell The Coffee

Last  week, I created a beautiful body and facial scrub using coffee.  I filmed a video on how I did this.  It was so much fun to make as my Grand-daughter helped me to do so.  This Scrub smells so fabulous and is perfect for moisturizing and energizing your skin.  Give it a try, I know you will love it!

If you enjoy the smell of coffee...this is the perfect way to wake up and energize during your morning routine.

Much Love and Bright Blessings,

Lovely Handmade Gifts

Hello Friends,

I mentioned before that I was making Beauty Baskets for Christmas Gifts this year. To put into the baskets, I have created adorable little goats milk soaps with Vanilla, Oats and sandalwood.  I then then topped each with a tiny rose bud. I also created soaps with the same ingredients but instead of topping each with a rose bud, I sprinkled the tops with a beautiful mint green Faery Dust.  In addition, I concocted Sinusitis Bath Salts and placed some in delicate chiffon pouches. I mailed a tiny package to a friend of mine and she took this beautiful photo of the gifts she received.

I also created amazingly colorful and scented Bath Salts that I placed in jars, added a lovely tag and attached a tiny bauble.  The scents of the jars I created were: Cinnamon/Clove, English Lavender, Mint, Lemon and Orange.  Below is a photo of a few of the jars I will be gifting.

Needless to say, creating these lovelies made my home smell AMAZING!!!! I really enjoy creating these types of gifts.
Have you been making gifts this Holiday Season?  If so, I would love to hear what you have been working on.

Bright Blessings,
♥♥♥

Breakfast,Coffee,Chit Chat,DIY and of Course, Kitties!

Last week, my Friend Donna and I met for Breakfast at my house.  I cooked farm fresh brown eggs that were gifted to Jimi and me from our friends Robin and Roger when we made candles with them.

Donna cooked our bacon...she taught me a little trick that makes cooking bacon so much easier....hmmm, maybe a DIY on that? Yeah, I am thinking that would be cool, so I won't reveal the trick as of yet.  Patience, my friends!  I will have to get together with Donna to film the Bacon Trick Video.  Anyway, breakfast was yummy.

We filmed a DIY Video on how to make a sugar lip scrub. The Kitty Committee had to join in, of course!   Jump on over to my YouTube Channel to see it. http://www.youtube.com/miladyleela

It was such fun to film with her again!  I think it has been since Christmas time that we did the last one.

I have also posted a couple of other video's this past week....this is one I filmed about a few Avon purchases.

Our Trio Band has been busy as of late..we played this weekend at a local Club and had a blast!!!

A Tutorial.....Part One

I just have to share this with you all....My friend Donna and I did not have time to finish up this project on the day we filmed but just the same, had to share at least this part of the video.  When the project is completed, it is going to look super cool and mine will be given as a gift this Christmas.  Shhhh...not saying who the gift recipient is, just in case she is reading this...Tee Hee!  If you have any questions about anything in this part of the video, leave me a comment here or on the comments page of the video.

Next up......A very Spooktacular event....The Fifth Annual Halloween Blog Party.  Please be sure to stop by here on Saturday for a special Halloween Story.
