Looking Closely

Did you ever see a sign in something that was least expected? I have an interesting little story to share!
My Friend Tina really enjoys my Beeswax Candles.  She purchases them all of the time to replenish her supply.  At my last Spring Trunk Show, she selected a couple of my Hand Dipped Tapers. That evening, she and her Husband had a Date Night at their home and Celebrated on their porch.

As the evening went on and the candles burned, an interesting and spiritual thing happened.

Look closely....do you see the sign? There in the wax is a cross that formed as the candle began to drip.
I find this so amazing!!! When Tina shared this photo with me, I felt such a magical feeling!!! When I create these candles, something very Spiritual comes over me. I infuse my intent of Love, Peace and Positive Energy into each and every candle so that the purchaser can take some of that Energy with them.  So when I saw the Cross in the burning candle, I felt that my intentions had transferred to Tina.  She in turn, saw this as a sign that what I have started and what I am creating is something that I should continue to do.
Funny and yet magical as we both saw this as a sign for the good of each other.  Friendship is truly a very magical thing!
Have you seen or experienced any signs lately? I would love to hear♥
Blessings and Much Love,

Creating with Friends!

Hello...today is the day I am sharing some of the photo's Jimi and I have from the adventure we took last week.  In the last post, I mentioned that we had taken an adventure and shared a video with you of our travels.  If you have not had a chance to see that video, scroll down to the previous post to watch it or you can see it here: http://youtu.be/-LbJZ_lajz8
That particular day was so much fun for Jimi and I!!! We had a great time visiting friends on their Farm and learned how to make beeswax candles.  It was truly a great experience!!!

My friend Robin Armstrong-Seeber(Robin is also my Business Partner with RD Productions...you can visit us here: https://www.facebook.com/RDproductionsforartists  )took the photo above...it is a look at the melted beeswax that we used in order to make the hand dipped, lamplighter and taper candles.  For those of you that do not know what "Lamp Lighter" candles are, I will explain.  In colonial times, there were no matches or electricity. A thin taper like candle was used to light the lanterns in and around the house...hence the name, " Lamp Lighter."   I think that is pretty neat and so inventive, wouldn't' you say?

In addition, we made votive candles.  Robin and her Hubby Roger, sent us home with so many goodies!!! They had packaged up a gift of mixed Beeswax candles and supplies to start making our own candles along with a great bottle of wine.

Take a peek at the lovely Tapers we made with Robin and Roger.

...and the votive candles we placed in our Candle-scape that sits on our coffee table at home.

It is such a pleasure to burn Beeswax candles.  They are extremely environmentally friendly, do not emit harmful fumes for people and animals to breathe and smell so amazing....just like honey!
Jimi and I are super excited to begin making these candles ourselves.  We spend so much money on candles as we always buy and burn them, so we figured it would help us to save money.  Most importantly though, not only is it better for our health to use these candles, we enjoyed the process and will have fum makeing them too.  Win, Win, I say!!!

Lastly, I wanted to mention that Robin and Roger raise chickens on their Farm and gave us two dozen beautiful Fresh Brown eggs to also take home.

We had a great time enjoying Friendship, Food and Fun...can not wait to visit with them again!!!

Much Love,

Christmas at The Miller's

What a Christmas this was!!!!! Lovely times with Family and Friends. Memories made and good times had. I can not believe it is over, it has come and gone so quickly this year, I feel as though It just crept up and snuck out in a blink. My favorite memory from this year was the Candle Light Service at our Church. Our Pastor reads the biblical story of Jesus birth and at the end of the story, the entire congregation holds up a lit white candle. There is nothing but silence for about five minutes and then the our Pastor tell us to "go in peace". It is truly so beautiful!!!! I look forward to that quiet moment every single year. It really touches me.
I also want to share a few pictures of Christmas at our house. I wanted to take more but there was so much going on and I did not want to miss anything!!! It was a wonderful Christmas!

Hope yours was just as lovely!

Much Love,

♥♥♥
