Lunching With Mom ~Magical Moments

Lunching with Mom this week was wonderful!  We celebrated her 81st Birthday together on Tuesday.
Lunch was at my Favorite Vegan Restaurants "Cafe Fortuitea"....then off to shopping at The Outlet Mall.
Such a Beautiful Day indeed!

A Holiday Party

Yesterday was a Fabulous Day!!!!! It was a Girls Day Out, Holiday Party for The Una Bella Beauty and Wellness Studio Girls!  I must say that I have not had a day like that in a very long time!! It was so much Fun and we all said that we look forward to doing it again next year!!!! We all met at the Spa and enjoyed some treats first. There was Cranberry juice to drink and plates of cookies, cheese and crackers, along with a goats cheese spread.

 Then,  Kim (the owner of our Spa) gave us the most generous gifts!!!  Each of us were given a beautifully packaged gift which included spending money for the day and a special book of  Promises and Blessings. 

After snacking a bit and talking, we all piled in one car and drove to Stein Mart.  We had one hour to shop there so we could still make it to the next destination before closing time.  At Stein Mart, I purchased the most beautiful fitted blouse, two pairs of hosiery and a sweet skirt!  The blouse is a cream color fitted button down with a scalloped color and black lace at the top. It is really sunning!!! The hosiery included a plain black pair and the second pair, a black with glittered gold. The skirt I purchased to go along with the blouse, is a swing, mid length, poly,rayon,spandex blend.  It fits so comfortably and because I am short waisted, I can pull the waist band up higher for a really cute look! I had never been to a Stein Mart before...I was very impressed with the selection and quality of the store inventory!. Our next destination was Lush!  Oh how I have been wanting to go there!  I have always seen and heard about their products via YouTube and the catalog I signed up for, but have never been to an actual store.  All I can say is OMG!!!!! Total Love at first site!!!  I went a little bit crazy there and spent more than the money I was gifted...it is ok though.  I rationalize it by saying that both my Daughter's have a Birthday coming soon...so I can give them prezzie's from Lush that I know they will love!   Haha..who else rationalizes like that?  I know it is NOT just me..tee hee!
I can not wait to go back to Lush and experience more of it...we were a bit pressed for time and only had a half an hour before closing.  I did get photo's though to share with you all.

Next up, The Cheesecake Factory for dinner!!!
Kim ordered appetizers for us to share..we had Asian lettuce wraps, spinach and artichoke dip with Pita chips and a special salad.  Each of us ordered a dinner of our choice.

I chose a veggie Burger that was Totally Amazing and for dessert.....Kim selected three items.  two of which were cheesecake and the third a type of lemon cake that was really rich and wonderful!!


 Lots of food, I will say.....I was able to bring some home to eat for lunch today.  It was just as yummy today as it was yesterday!  What a Great time we all had!!!

Oh and look at these amazing deserts.....ahhhhh so so yummy!!!! I have got to go back there to sample them!!!!

...and of course, I will be filming a Haul to share with you the outfit I purchased and all my pretty little Lush goodies.  I am hoping to do that today so I can post it before the end of the week.  So, stay tuned for that.  It was a great idea, we all concluded.. to have our Holiday Party after the Holidays.  It gave us all something to look forward to and of course we were able to take advantage of sale prices at Stein Mart!  I forgot to mention, that my skirt and blouse from Stein Mart was on sale, plus I got another 25% off on top of that!!!

Fabulous Fashion Finds

I think I may now have to gain some more closet space...oohhhh that is a project in the future I want to dive into!  I have a plan in mind to use a spare bedroom...creating it to be my dressing room.  Aahhh...that is what I want and need!  Do you have your own dressing room?  If so, do you love it?

Nesting

Hi there Everyone!!!! I am super happy at the moment about what has transpired over the last week.  We finally have a new couch and loveseat!!! Yay!  I have been wanting to get new furniture for such a long time and on Monday of last week, Thanks to our friends Denise and Marty, we have a new set(well not new but new to us...)  It was so funny how it all happened...I had asked Denise to look on Craig's List for me and  she found a set for herself instead.  Not a problem because we now have what used to be theirs and Jimi and I LOVE it!!!  It looks so good in our space!  The cats love it too...especially Mr. Jackson!

Yesterday, Denise and I went shopping for wall art and we both bought such cool stuff!!!!  Of course this was necessary since we both have to redecorate..haha! The best part is we did not spend that much money!!!  As soon as I get my livingroom together, I will take photo's to share.  I did already move the butterfly painting I created last year and put it over the large sofa...

It looks better there than it did over the TV.  Seems like with Spring around the corner, I am super inspired to clean, redecorate and spruce up my house!!!!  Oh and I should mention, that I am also working on redecorating our bathroom upstairs...it is eventually going to be a place where I can take a bath and get ready in a serene spa like environment.  Photos on that will also be shared..I promise!!!

Anyway, that is what has been happening in my world lately....what is happening in yours?

I Love Sharing A Great Sale!!

What are your favorite products at the Drug Store? If you love to shop for sales, I have found that Rite Aid has always been a great place to go.



 I have polished my nails since filming this video with the Petites Pink.  Oh my goodness, it is so lovely!!! It is a pale almost Nude Pink and is perfect for any skin tone!!!  I am excited to use the eye shadow's...especially the gold color.   Let me know if you have tried any of the products I have mentioned...I would love your comments.

My Umbrella, Friends and Memorable Travels

I have an obsession...I must admit!  I am really loving Umbrella's.

   My family and I recently traveled to Williamsburg Virginia.These photos above were taken at a really cool place called "The Pottery".  In Williamsburg, we had an amazing time discovering new territory.  We stayed in a time share and it was really lovely.

  Every morning, we would have our breakfast on the porch....

This was our beautiful scenery.

 Friends of ours came to stay with us for an overnight. We shared an evening of  great food and music!

 I prepared a Spaghetti and Meatball dinner for us..below is our Table setting before the meal.

We also enjoyed a nice Red Wine, a wonderful salad and a great loaf of Italian Bread.  After dinner, we sang and shared some acoustic music with Jimi playing the bongo's and Topper on guitar. Topper is responsible for the music on my blog by the way.
 Next morning, we all had breakfast together and then Topper and Bonnie headed home. They live in Virginia so we do not get to see them very often...It was truly a wonderful time getting together with our friends!

While in Williamsburg, I filmed a couple of video's.  Below is one from our discoveries at the Yankee Candle Store




 It was an amazing place and I highly recommend visiting there if you are ever in the area.

Have I Mentioned....

Have I mentioned that I love Candles and a great bargain?   I though that I had shared with you that I went to a yard sale a few Saturday's ago and scored this Three Wick Candle with a stand for .20 cents!!!

 Yay me!!!! At first I though it was from Partylite but found out that it was not..no worries, it still was a fabulous find!  Also, this week, I found a few other fabulous finds and filmed a video to share about it.



Lastly I want to share with you that my Artist friend Robin and I have started a brand new company called, RD Productions.  So excited!!! We say that it is a company by Artists for Artists.   We are planning to put on an intimate gathering Holiday Art Show in 2013...more on that as progresses.  Also, I am excited to share that PnL Media Promotions will be helping to promote and plan this exciting event.   You can visit on FaceBook here:

Two New Video's and One More In The Works.

This week I filmed and edited Three Video's.  Two of which I will share with you today here on my Blog.  The next one will be posted more than likely...tomorrow for Tutorial Tuesday's post.  I believe that I mentioned previously that my Hubby was Terminated from his position at work.  He had been working there for the last 10 years plus.Well,  the Company decided to shut down and close The Department of Marketing of which he was in charge of due to a Restructure that unfortunately did not include him...anyway, he is home with me now and helping me with the things that I am involved in.  My main concern is that we will lose our Health Insurance at the end of this month.  Hopefully we can begin building our revenue again in order to purchase a policy. Ok...enough of that!  Below are the Video's I have posted on my Channel.  I do hope you enjoy them.  One is a shopping haul and the other, a get ready with me~makeup application.

What A Fabulous Week!!!!!

This week was really fabulous!!!! Our Band taped commercial segments with a local TV Station WPMY and local Radio Personalities "Tall Kathy" and "Scottro" for this weekends Movie "Chicago."  We did the commercial segments in between the movie.



 It was  a lot of fun!!!!

Yesterday, we went to The Meadows to take part in The Kentucky Derby festivities and placed some bets.  We really did not win very much money but it was a lot of fun!  Later that night, we were invited for dinner to a friends house and to watch the movie I mentioned.  It was really cool to see ourselves on the commercials! 

I must also mention that on Friday night, I was finally able to get to Marshalls to reedem my Gift Certificates...only from Christmas, shows how busy I am because you all know, I LOVE to shop!  Anyway, I am really happy with all that I bought and filmed a video to share.




I will be back tomorrow with Mani Monday...a new Nail look and an updated Nail Polish Collection Video.
